During the third quarter of 2023, the top social apps in Turkey—TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and X—displayed varied performance metrics on a unified platform.

TikTok saw an impressive increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 653K in the week of August 21. Weekly revenue reached its highest at approximately $272K in the week of August 7. However, weekly active users decreased from 44.7M to 39.8M throughout the quarter.

Instagram experienced a notable spike in weekly revenue, peaking at about $137K in the last week of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 402K in the week of September 4. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 37.6M throughout the quarter.

Threads had a strong start with weekly downloads reaching 1.29M in early July, but this figure saw a significant decline, settling at around 141K by the end of September. X showed consistent weekly downloads, with a peak of 139K in mid-August. Weekly revenue reached around $27K in the same period. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 13.1M and ending at 11.9M.
